Following the international airport runway upgrade, wide-body planes will now be able to land. More established airlines and new airlines will be expected to operate additional services and direct flight from other countries, and to Melbourne and Auckland that already to be extended service from July 2019. Air Vanuatu is also purchasing three new aircraft in the near future. This will have a huge positive impact on the visitor numbers particularly coming years.
